Note:
How to Install:
1) Extract “VON.rar” file anywhere you want2) Install the “_inmm238.exe” program on your PC…It doesn’t matter where, but it is important to have it installed on your PC.
3) Important part for sounds! Open the “_inmm.ini” file ,in the VON folder, with a notepad and edit the path to where your MP3 tracks are (and where your copied game is), for EACH of the 26 track files. For example, my path to the first two files is:
D:\Igrice\Sega\VON\MP3\01 VOC Intro.mp3
D:\Igrice\Sega\VON\MP3\02 VOC Demo.mp3
and if your game is copied in the regular “Program Files” folder on the C: partition you will have to change the lines in “_inmm.ini” file like this:
C:\Program Files\VON\MP3\01 VOC Intro.mp3
C:\Program Files\VON\MP3\02 VOC Demo.mp3
Don’t forget to change the path for all of the 26 mp3 files and then save the “_inmm.ini” file!!! If you don’t do that, the game won’t recognize the rest of the mp3 music files and you will play the game in silence or it will possibly crash!
4) Most important part now! How to run the game!, in the game folder go to “DXWND” folder and start dxwnd program then double click on Virtual-On Cyber Troopers to start the game. This way the game runs smoothly and without crashes on modern computers.
